Today’s NPC Athlete Spotlight is Men’s Physique Competitor Blake Bernard My name is Blake Bernard and I’m a Nationally Qualified NPC Men’s Physique Athlete from Haverhill, Massachusetts. I train out of Latitude Sports Clubs which is a chain of high end gyms located throughout the area north of Boston. I have been weight training for 6 years and became more serious as each year progressed. I originally started lifting to gain size and confidence. After training for almost 4 years I finally learned how important nutrition was and changed my diet. I lost body fat and gained some size which made me appear larger and leaner. These results inspired me to train more intense and learn my body better. I now knew that nutrition was a huge part in transforming my body in this relatively short time.
